Launching Soon:
QANTAS 2.95% NOV ’29 XTB IPO
ASX code: YTMQF4
The XTB will mirror the underlying Qantas bond being issued to the institutional market on 07 DEC 2020.
The XTB IPO allows all investors to access returns from this bond, with the added convenience of ASX trading.
Initial investments start at $5,000 for the IPO made up of single XTB units each with a face value of $100 each.
How XTBs work
XTBs represent a $100 fraction of a corporate bond, which is traded on ASX.
Each XTB has the same coupon rate and maturity date as its underlying bond. So effectively an XTB mirrors the cash flow characteristics of an individual corporate bond issued in the wholesale market.
XTBs blend the predictable income and capital stability of corporate bonds, with the transparency and liquidity of the ASX market.
